Vijayadashami falls on Tuesday, 20 October 2026 — the day of victory over adharma, and by tradition an abujh muhurat: auspicious for beginnings without further consultation. New ventures, first entries, shastra puja and vidya arambh all carry Dussehra’s blessing.
It is also the classical day for victory-themed remedies — court matters, competition, enemies. Maa Baglamukhi, goddess of victory, is especially worshipped: see the Court Case Vijay puja.
