🧲 Baglamukhi Akarsan Prayog Puja

Attract what is rightfully yours — love, favour and influence.

🔱 About this Puja

Baglamukhi Akarsan Prayog Puja is a specific ritual associated with Maa Baglamukhi (Maa Pitambara), one of the ten Mahavidyas. “Akarsan” refers to attraction or drawing power — this prayog is performed to attract or draw a specific person, situation or favourable circumstance towards you.

It may be performed for various purposes, such as attracting a loved one, gaining the upper hand in a legal matter, or enhancing personal charisma and influence. Maa Baglamukhi, seated on a yellow lotus with a club in her right hand and a noose in her left, is believed to possess the power to control or attract.

Maa Baglamukhi, also known as Maa Pitambara, is one of the ten Mahavidyas — the Great Wisdom Goddesses of Hinduism. She is depicted seated on a yellow lotus, draped in yellow, holding a club in her right hand and a noose in her left. She is revered for her unmatched power to paralyse (stambhan), control and subdue adverse forces, which makes her puja one of the most powerful remedies in the entire Vedic-tantric tradition.

Complete Procedure — Step by Step

Preparation

Start by purifying yourself through a bath and by wearing clean, preferably yellow or saffron-coloured clothing. Select a clean and quiet place for the puja, free from disturbance.

Setup

Set up a sacred space or altar where the puja will be conducted. Place the picture or idol of Maa Baglamukhi at the centre of the altar on a yellow cloth, decorate it with fresh flowers, and apply sandalwood paste and kumkum. Arrange flowers, incense, fruits and ghee as offerings.

Invocation

Begin the puja by meditating on Maa Baglamukhi and invoking her divine presence. Recite her specific mantras and prayers, and seek her blessings and guidance for the purpose of your puja.

Offerings

Offer fresh flowers, incense, fruits, sweets and other items as a sign of devotion and respect. It is common to offer ghee (clarified butter), as this is considered a sacred substance in Hindu rituals. Light the ghee lamp and incense sticks and offer them to the Goddess while chanting her mantra.

Mantras and Prayers

Chant the specific Baglamukhi mantras and prayers — especially the mool mantra given below — for the prescribed count on a haldi mala, with complete devotion. These mantras are believed to enhance the efficacy of the puja.

Focused Intention

Throughout the puja, maintain a focused intention on the specific outcome you desire — whether attracting someone or gaining favourable control over a situation. After the jaap, sit quietly, meditate on the Goddess and visualise the desired outcome being fulfilled by her grace.

Conclusion

Conclude the puja with gratitude to Maa Baglamukhi and a final round of mantras and prayers. Perform the aarti, seek her blessings for success in your endeavour, and distribute the prasadam (sweets and fruits) among your family members, friends and yourself.

Please note that specific mantras and procedures may vary among different traditions and practitioners. Conducting such pujas should be done with proper guidance from a knowledgeable priest or guru, and with due ethical and moral consideration. Specific practices and rituals vary among traditions. This prayog is conducted with ethical sankalpa and full respect for the free will of others, under the personal guidance of Guru ji.
