Haldi Mala vs Rudraksha: What to Use for Baglamukhi Jaap

July 18, 2026

For Maa Baglamukhi’s mantra jaap, tradition is unambiguous: the haldi (turmeric) mala. Yellow is Maa Pitambara’s colour, and turmeric carries her vibration — the shastras specifically prescribe it for her mantras, just as tulsi is prescribed for Vishnu and rudraksha for Shiva.

Care for your haldi mala matters: keep it wrapped in yellow cloth, never let others touch it, and replace it if beads crack. Rudraksha is not wrong for general jaap — but for Baglamukhi sadhna specifically, haldi mala multiplies the fruit of every count.

Energised haldi malas are available in the Baglamukhi shop.
